Well, it happened. Technoblade is the future Mayor of Hypixel Skyblock.<\/p>\n

First off, Farming minions work twice as fast. On top of that, +50% skill experience. There’s another perk from one of the other mayors that grants +25% skill experience.<\/p>\n

As everyone is aware, Melon minions are the best minion for farming xp. Lots of players probably will have Melon minions down just to get a ton of farming xp during the time Technoblade is mayor.<\/p>\n

So, as you might guess… well… Melon prices spiked, as people need Melons to make the minions, and no one wants to collect their melon minions now because why collect them now when you can collect them during Technoblade and get +75% skill xp?<\/p>\n

\"melon<\/a>Let’s round down and say enchanted melon prices are 1700 coins per. Now, it takes my friend 10 minutes to harvest a melon layer. Each melon layer grants roughly 1800 enchanted melons (Farming 45, Melon Dicer with Turbo 5 and Cultivating 7, not recombobulated, and Legendary Elephant, lv 100). With this, he was able to earn 1700 * 1800 * 6 = 18.3m\/hr during this time.<\/p>\n

The current insta-sell price for normal melons is 12 coins at the moment, probably because people want to make melon farms. 12*160 = 1920 coins, which is 220 more coins than the current enchanted melon prices. This means that theoretically, you would be able to make 1920 * 1800 * 6 = 20.52m\/hr doing this!<\/p>\n

Of course, if he was farming 60, then he’d make even more money.<\/p>\n
