It all started when I was playing Skyblock, getting all of the materials needed for the Great Spook Equipment. However, my game froze, and I was disconnected. Upon trying to reconnect, I see &#8220;Logging in&#8230;&#8221; and &#8220;Joining World&#8230;&#8221;, and then I would immediately get kicked from Hypixel with the message &#8220;Disconnected&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/hypixel.net\/attachments\/2024380\/\" alt=\"Disconnected&quot; error when trying to join Hypixel. | Hypixel - Minecraft Server and Maps\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what happens when I try to log in (note that this isn&#8217;t my video, others have run into the same issue as I have):<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"weird login bug :l\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3AWkBbfHRXw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Looking at <code>latest.log<\/code>, I am able to see the Guild MoTD, and my friends online can see <code>sirknightj joined<\/code> and <code>sirknightj left<\/code> every time I try to reconnect.<\/p>\n<p>Trying to connect to the other Hypixel ip addresses didn&#8217;t work:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>us.hypixel.net<\/li>\n<li>play.hypixel.net<\/li>\n<li>eu.hypixel.net<\/li>\n<li>mc.hypixel.net<\/li>\n<li>stuck.hypixel.net<\/li>\n<li>hypixel.net<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The strange thing was that when my brother logged into Hypixel on the same PC as me, he&#8217;s able to connect just fine.<\/p>\n<p>I removed all my mods 1 by 1 to no avail. I\u00a0 I tried using Badlion client. I even switched to vanilla 1.8.9. When that didn&#8217;t work, I went to vanilla 1.18 and 1.19 (the most recent releases of Minecraft).<\/p>\n<p>I figured there was something wrong with my player data on Hypixel&#8217;s end. Doing a bit of digging, I found this forum post by one of the Hypixel Admins:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/sirknight-stuck.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3093\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/sirknight-stuck-1024x580.png\" alt=\"sirknight-stuck\" width=\"1024\" height=\"580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/sirknight-stuck-1024x580.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/sirknight-stuck-300x170.png 300w, https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/sirknight-stuck-768x435.png 768w, https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/sirknight-stuck.png 1069w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It basically explains that it&#8217;s possible for Hypixel to think that my player is stuck in a game, which makes sense as to why my account kept getting disconnected, while my brother&#8217;s was able to work just fine. The Admin recommends to connect to stuck.hypixel.net, which should reset my player location. However, <code>stuck.hypixel.net<\/code> seems to be depreciated, as all it does is redirect you to <code>mc.hypixel.net<\/code>.<\/p>\n<p>After cutting a ticket to support, I went to bed hoping the issue would fix itself.<\/p>\n<p>The next day (about 16 hours after the issue happened), I tried logging in again, to no avail. I did some more digging on the forums until I found <a href=\"https:\/\/hypixel.net\/threads\/i-cant-join-hypixel-please-help.5136163\/#post-36885348\">this post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/opening-both-tabs-sirknightj.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3094\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/opening-both-tabs-sirknightj.png\" alt=\"opening-both-tabs-sirknightj\" width=\"1008\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/opening-both-tabs-sirknightj.png 1008w, https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/opening-both-tabs-sirknightj-300x110.png 300w, https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/opening-both-tabs-sirknightj-768x283.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1008px) 100vw, 1008px\" \/><\/a>Then it clicked. I remembered a while ago when I forgot to switch minecraft profiles in the launcher, I would sometimes accidentally kick my brother out of Hypixel and vice versa. Whenever that happened, we were always put in the lobby. This seemed to be a workaround for resetting my location in Hypixel, so I tried it out.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Solution<\/strong><\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>Wait for Hypixel to fix the bug. As a temporary workaround, you can open two instances of Minecraft and connect to Hypixel on both of them with a few seconds of delay between them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Note that if you click join on Minecraft 2 too quickly (less than a second) after clicking join on Minecraft 1, it doesn&#8217;t seem to work. The delay appears to be necessary.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/media.discordapp.net\/attachments\/755886636046483527\/1029141112478236673\/unknown.png?width=1440&amp;height=421\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you try too many times in a row, you may run into:<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/hypixel.net\/attachments\/1631180773917-png.2735818\/\" alt=\"Can't join hypixel after migrating to microsoft account | Hypixel - Minecraft Server and Maps\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this case, just wait about 10-15 seconds, then you can try again.<\/p>\n<p>Every time I want to join Hypixel, <span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">I need to do this every time. I can&#8217;t just &#8220;log in normally&#8221; like I used to. <\/span>Note that you can&#8217;t actually have two Badlion clients or two Lunar clients open, so you need to use 1 vanilla instance and one of those client instances of Minecraft. This appears to be an issue on Hypixel&#8217;s end.<\/p>\n<p>There isn&#8217;t much you can do other than <strong>wait for Hypixel to fix the issue<\/strong>. For the time being, simply connect using the workaround.<\/p>\n<h3>Update &#8211; 10\/14\/2022<\/h3>\n<p>Seems like Hypixel has fixed the issue causing this disconnection bug, as I am able to log in normally again.
