The best banner of the year. Time to summon!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>My expectations for this summoning session<\/h2>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/8khjjCPLFeg?si=V_DceEDI_ObdGg4N&amp;t=933\">Fehology&#8217;s video<\/a>, the average player should expect to receive 43 focus 5-stars in 1,000 orbs, mentioning that it&#8217;s &#8220;almost a certainty that you&#8217;ll get 2 +10&#8217;s&#8221;. The expected rates for that banner were about 29 orbs per focus 5-star unit. If you haven&#8217;t seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_29WKOh7LnE\">that video<\/a> though, I received 28 focus 5-star units (29 including the single spark). I hope to be able to get luckier this time around.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FOb4liWWYAgJr-z?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Using the summoning statistics calculator<\/h3>\n<p>Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fullyconcentrated.net\/fehstatsim\/\">summoning statistics simulator<\/a>, the 50th percentile of players are able to get one of the focus units in under 33 orbs, which is great.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/ahr-2024-statistics-any-one-focus.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4305\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/ahr-2024-statistics-any-one-focus.png\" alt=\"ahr-2024-statistics-any-one-focus\" width=\"679\" height=\"569\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/ahr-2024-statistics-any-one-focus.png 679w, https:\/\/www.sirknightj.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/ahr-2024-statistics-any-one-focus-300x251.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 679px) 100vw, 679px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Calculating the number of copies needed to summon, 50% of players are able to obtain 10 copies of one of the units in 1,162 orbs. Note that you only need 10 because the Spark will give you the 11th. Also note that you only need 9 Peonies since she&#8217;s given out for free. That averages out to <strong>47.8 orbs per focus 5-star<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If we do the orbs per 5-star excluding 4-star specials, then I received 32 of them in 1,200 orbs. This comes out to 37.5 orbs per 5-star.<\/p>\n<p>If we include all 5-stars including the 4-star specials, then I received 42 in 1,200 orbs, which comes out to 28.6 orbs per 5-star.<\/p>\n<h2>Comparing my stats to other FEH YouTubers&#8217; AHR Summons<\/h2>\n<p>Looking at other FEHTubers&#8217; AHR summoning sessions, I&#8217;ll calculate their rates so we can see how lucky I was comparatively. During this summoning session, I unfortunately performed worse than the others.<\/p>\n<p>Because I spent a large amount of orbs, it sets back my account&#8217;s progress compared to everyone else. If my account was luckier, I could have spent some more orbs in other places.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m still waiting for a time when I drop over 1,000 orbs on a banner and get (significantly) better-than-average pulls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s that time of year again!
