I’ve started grinding Hypixel Skyblock again, and one item I really want to get is a Shiny Hyperion maxed out with tier 7 enchants and Chimera 5. While I had enough coins to simply buy it, I wanted to earn enough coins on my own. After working towards that goal, I was able to make over 2 billion coins! In this article, I’ll share how I made that much money.<\/p>\n

Dungeons<\/h4>\n

I’ve been pretty lucky in dungeons. I’ve been playing F7, M3, M4, M5, and M7. Dungeons are probably one of the most underrated ways to make money, as I’ve managed to make over 20 million coins an hour. Even a recombobulator nets about 3 million coins in profit from the chest.<\/p>\n

However, I got extremely lucky and dropped an item that profited me around 800 million coins.<\/p>\n

I’ve also dropped other RNG drops, such as Master Stars from various floors. Over the past week, I\u2019ve dropped 4 from M3 and 4 from M4. In total, I made 1.1 billion coins from dungeons alone.<\/p>\n

Mining<\/h4>\n

Recently, I started mining to reach HOTM 10. Along the way, I was making around 23 million coins an hour just from doing commissions in the Glacite Tunnels. Peridot gemstones and Tungsten made me the most money from mining. I ended up making about 200 million coins during my journey to HOTM 10.<\/p>\n

What made mining even more overpowered is that I was able to do another money-making method at the same time, which made me even more coins.<\/p>\n

Flipping\/Investing<\/h4>\n

While I was mining, I kept an eye on the Skyblock Z Discord and managed to snatch up many good deals. I would lowball some people who were desperate to sell items, and some accepted my offers. Although I kept many of the items I bought for myself, the ones I did sell made me over 200 million coins that week.<\/p>\n

Additionally, I researched some items to invest in. From my previous knowledge, I decided to invest in Griffin pets. Griffin pets tend to drop about 20% in value when it’s not the Mythological Event, so I bought 11 Griffin pets for 57-60 million coins each. I was able to sell them for 68-77 million coins each, making about 180 million coins from the Griffin pets.<\/p>\n

\"Previous<\/a><\/p>\n

I also invested in Recombobulators and Fuming Potato Books. I bought Recombobulators for 7.8 million coins and Fuming Potato Books for 1.1 million coins. Earlier this week, their prices rose to 9.3 million and 1.5 million coins, respectively. I made around 200 million coins from Recombobulators and about 100 million coins from Fumings.<\/p>\n

Another item I invested in was Glossy Gemstones. I bought them for 4.5-5 million coins. However, I decided that holding onto them was too risky, so I sold them. As of writing this article, they are at 5.5 million coins. I made about 50 million coins from this.<\/p>\n

I’m close to buying that maxed out Shiny Hyperion with Chimera 5. I\u2019ll probably be able to buy it within the next two weeks. I plan to invest in more Recombobulators and Fuming Potato Books during Paul\u2019s term as the next mayor. That’ll probably make me another 500 million coins.
