<\/a><\/p>\nI only started playing Hypixel Skyblock again starting this summer, after taking a multi-year break. I remember reading an update where the admins added a 2nd fairy soul.<\/p>\n

I looked through the fairy souls menu to see if I had it. I knew I didn’t since I didn’t play, but wanted to check just in case it was moved around or transferred, as they tended to do back when they added or updated islands.<\/p>\n
When I first read this menu, I thought the counter was just bugged, because when I added 9+4+1+1+1, it equals 16. However, I realized later that those numbers only tell you the breakdown of the total number of fairy souls that exist, not the number of them that you have. I initially interpreted this saying how many you already gotten. I found a few other forum posts with this same interpretation I had, so I know I’m not the only one who fell for this.<\/p>\n Looking at the comments of some posts by other players on Reddit (https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HypixelSkyblock\/comments\/17xqf5y\/fairy_grotto_fairy_soul\/<\/a>) and the forums (https:\/\/hypixel.net\/threads\/so-about-miscellaneous-fairy-souls.5737965\/<\/a>), I was getting a mixed bag of whether or not there were actually 2 fairy souls to be obtained from fishing in the fairy grotto.<\/p>\n I had already gotten one of them a long time ago. So, I decided to try fishing. The gear I used was just my Shredder from a long time ago. It grants +115 Fishing Speed. I also used the Ammonite pet, since there was no access to the sky, fishing speed is significantly reduced. The Ammonite pet reduces that no sunlight penalty. I also used my Sorrow armor because I only had Shark Scale armor, and that doesn’t give any fishing speed. Only sea creature chance, which I didn’t want.<\/p>\n After about 1.5 hours of fishing, I finally got it.<\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n
